Urological check-up
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men worldwide, with around 1,600,000 cases and 366,000 deaths each year. It occurs most often in men over the age of 50. Although prostate cancer is very common, most people do not die from it. In fact, it generally develops very slowly.
Prostate cancer often has no symptoms at first. But if symptoms do appear, they can include:
- The need to urinate more often than usual.
- A slower-than-usual stream of urine.
These symptoms can also be caused by conditions other than prostate cancer.
This assessment is carried out in addition to a medical check-up.
